Monday, Sept. 22 — National Hazing Prevention Week's Billy Boulden: ForCollegeForLife Keynote Speaker

  • You Don’t Have to PROVE Anything is an empowering program that helps students and organizations create cultures of belonging while eliminating harmful practices. 
  • Drawing from his experience in athletics, fraternity life, and student leadership, Billy shows audiences that members are enough as they are and that healthy culture is the key to unlocking both individual and organizational potential.
  • This event will take place from 5 p.m. at the Kiva Auditorium. 

Monday, Sept. 22 — National Hazing Prevention Week's Chalk the Block & Paint the Rock

  • Join FSL as we chalk campus & paint the rock to spread awareness for NHPW to #StopHazing!
  • This event will take place from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Risman Plaza. 

Monday, Sept. 22 — Recreation and Wellness Services' Plant and Grow Yoga Workshop

  • Get grounded, get creative, and grow something beautiful - inside and out. 
  • Step into a peaceful, plant-filled space where art meets mindfulness. 
  • In this soul-soothing workshop, you’ll start by painting your very own flower pot, then pot up a vibrant houseplant to brighten your home (and your day!). 
  • Once your green creation is set to grow, you’ll flow through a gentle, multilevel yoga class - leaving you refreshed, recharged, rooted in calm.
    - Create & take home a hand-painted flower pot.
    - Pot up your very own houseplant to care for at home.
    - Unwind with a grounding yoga flow surrounded by nature vibes
    - Stretch your body. Nurture your soul. Let your creativity bloom.
  • Cost: Student $15, Member $20, Non-member $25
  • This event will take place from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

Tuesday, Sept. 23 — National Hazing Prevention Week's Kent State Stands Up: Bystander Action Workshop

  • Kent State Stands Up in changing the culture and redefining the norms. 
  • Learn about bystander action in an engaging workshop that gives you immediate options to prevent harm. 
  • We all have a role to play in keeping our community safe. 
  • Kent State Stands Up is your call to action. How will you stand up?
  • This event will take place from 3 - 4 p.m. at room 306A in the Kent Student Center.

Tuesday, Sept. 23 — Intercultural Student Life's Global Community Hour

  • Come to a casual hang to meet new people from around the world, play games, and eat free food!
  • This event will take place from 3 - 4:30 p.m. at the Pepsi Leadership Center (room 220) of the Kent Student Center.

Tuesday, Sept. 23 — Flash Activities Board's 'Do You Remember' Karaoke Night

  • Join FAB in the Rathskeller for their third karaoke of the school year! Sign ups will start at 6:45 p.m. Make sure to arrive early!
  • This karaoke night will have a twist! There will not be lyrics to read off of. Can you sing to your favorite tunes from memory? Test your skills with FAB!
  • This event will take place from 7 - 9 p.m. at the lower level of the Kent Student Center in the Rathskeller. 

Wednesday, Sept. 24 — Kent State of Well-Being's Fresh Check Day

  • Stop by the Risman Plaza from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. to learn more about mental health awareness and suicide prevention with Kent State of Well-Being.

Wednesday, Sept. 24 — KSU Ice Arena's Black Squirrel Slumber Skate Night

  • College Skate Nights are Wednesday nights at the KSU Ice Arena for Kent State college students with a current college ID.  
  • Guests may accompany a KSU college student, but must be 18 years of age or older and have an ID.
  • Cost is $5 (includes skate rental).
  • This event will be take place at the KSU Ice Arena from 10:15 - 11:45 p.m. 

Thursday, Sept. 25 — College of Education, Health and Human Services' Donuts with Senator Dunkle

  • Stop by "Donuts with Senator Dunkle" for a sweet treat and meet your Undergraduate Student Senator! 
  • Alexa Dunkle is the student senator for the College of Education, Health and Human Services. She is your representative and voice at Undergraduate Student Government (USG).
  • This event is from 1 - 2:30 p.m. in room 200 of White Hall.

Thursday, Sept. 25 — Kent State Women's Soccer versus UMass

  • Join us for Student Org Night and meet with a few of the many student led organizations who will be tabling at the gate. 
  • The first 100 fans through the gate will receive a black Fearless Flash Soccer Bucket Hat. 
  • Wear black for our BLACKOUT in the stands!
  • Game will start at 2 p.m. at Dix Stadium.

Thursday, Sept. 25 — National Hazing Prevention Week's These Hands Don't Haze with FAB

  • Join FAB to #BeTheLeader and #PreventHazing by tracing your hand on a banner and write inside it the ways you are positively involved on campus—such as clubs, sports, or leadership roles. 
  • This simple yet powerful activity highlights your commitment to a healthy, inclusive community. While participating, you will also learn about hazing prevention, university policies, and how to recognize and report hazing. 
  • The event raises awareness, encourages personal accountability, and reinforces that our hands are for support—not harm.
  • This event will take place at the MACC Plaza from 2 - 5 p.m. at room 306A.

Thursday, Sept. 25 — National Hazing Prevention Week's Peace & Vibes Playlist Workshop

  • Get your vibe on and cultivate your peace and empowerment! 
  • In this workshop, participants will learn how music influences our moods. 
  • We will have guided discussions on the power of music to promote positive mental well-being. 
  • Participants will learn strategies to create their own peace and empowerment through music and will be guided to create their own playlist.
  • This event will take place at the Pepsi Leadership Center (room 220 of the Kent Student Center) from 4 - 5 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 25 — National Hazing Prevention Week's We DONUT Condone Hazing

  • Join the Kent City Police Department & Kent State Police Department to take the pledge to Stop Hazing on our campus and grab a donut upon taking the pledge!
  • This event will take place at the Risman Plaza from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 26 — Kent State Field Hockey versus Miami University

  • Join us for our Cancer Awareness Game as we face off against Miami! 
  • The first 150 fans will receive a cancer awareness silicone bracelet!
  • Game will start at 2 p.m. at Murphy-Mellis Field.

Saturday, Sept. 27 — Adventure Center's Archery Clinic

  • Come learn to shoot archery with our Adventure Center staff. We will teach you the basics and play fun archery games.
  • Location: SRWC Multipurpose Gym
  • Cost: $10.
  • This clinic will go from 1 - 3 p.m.
