Sunday, Sept. 14 — Adventure Center's Day Hike at Cuyahoga Valley National Park
- This two-and-a-half hour program covers the basics of indoor climbing including equipment, bouldering, top rope climbing, and belaying with an ATC and Gri-gri device.
- This program sets up an individual with no prior experience to take our belay test which is required when purchasing a climbing wall membership.
- Cost:$4.
- This hike will take place from 2 - 5 p.m. at CVNP.
Monday, Sept. 15 — Adventure Center's Introduction to Climbing and Belaying Clinic
- Been wanting to visit the nearest national park to Kent, OH? Join us on a day hike around Cuyahoga Valley National Park!
- Cost: $10.
- Please reach out to the Adventure Center to register.
- This event will take place from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center climbing wall.
Tuesday, Sept. 16 — Counseling and Psychological Services' Leaves of Hope
- At this tabling event, located in Risman Plaza, students can create leaves on a tree that have messages of hope and positivity for suicide prevention month.
- This event will take place from 12 - 2 p.m. at the Risman Plaza.
Tuesday, Sept. 16 — Recreation and Wellness Services' Yoga Glow Workshop
- Come shine with us! Get ready for a cozy, creative evening that soothes your soul and lights your glow - inside and out.
- You’ll start by mixing and pouring your very own custom-scented candle, choosing fragrances that reflect your vibe.
- While your candle sets, you’ll roll out your mat and flow through a relaxing, multilevel yoga class.
- Expect gentle movement, mindful breath work, and a whole lot of good energy.
- Whether you’re here for the scent, the stretch, or the shine, you’ll leave glowing from head to toe.
- Create your own candle.
- Flow through a calming yoga session.
- Leave with your light, your scent, and your smile. - Cost: Student $10, Member $15, Non-member $20.

Wednesday, Sept. 17 — COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES' Social and Resource Fair
- Did you know EHHS has offices and centers that support your education? Stop by the EHHS Social and Resource Fair and check out the services and resources they offer. (ex. 3D printing, free digital and video camera rental, free counseling, tutoring, etc.).
- For each resource you visit, your name will be entered into a raffle.
- Begin in room 200 White Hall (Read Room), where you will receive a list of locations. Then grab some popcorn and popsicles to enjoy as you explore White Hall.
- This event will take place from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 17 — Office of Global Education's Cultural Café
- During each Cultural Café, speakers from different cultures give a short presentation.
- Topics often include traditions and culture, history, geography, government, art, music, theatre, food and more.
- In addition, the presenting students often include demonstrations of traditional songs or dances, while actively encouraging audience participation.
- Country Showcase: Pakistan.
- This event will be in room 218 of the Kent Student Center from 12 - 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 17 — Recreation and Wellness Services' Rec the Row
- Recreation and Wellness Services will be hosting a resource fair on the K (Risman Plaza) to promote programs and offerings to members of the Fraternity and Sorority Life and general Âé¶¹¹û¶³ community.
- Hope to offer a fun mix of informational and interactive experiences to participants!
- This event will take place from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Risman Plaza and Student Green.
Wednesday, Sept. 17 — College of Public Health's Career Series - Meet a Public Health Professional in the Food Service Industry
- Cedric McMickle, Senior Manager, Total Quality, with Darden, a nationwide food service corporation with ownership of multiple restaurant chains, and a College of Public Health graduate student, discusses his career path through public health and private industry.

Wednesday, Sept. 17 — KSU Ice Arena's College Skate Night
- College Skate Nights are Wednesday nights at the KSU Ice Arena for Kent State college students with a current college ID.
- Guests may accompany a KSU college student, but must be 18 years of age or older and have an ID.
- Cost is $5 (includes skate rental).
- This event will be take place at the KSU Ice Arena from 10:15 - 11:45 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 18 — Design Innovation Initiative's Fix-It Kent
- Got something broken? Don’t toss it—fix it! Join DI for Fix-It Kent, a hands-on repair workshop where experienced coaches will help you repair your everyday objects, saving you money and keeping waste out of landfills.

Thursday, Sept. 18 — Flash Activities Board's (FAB) Superhero Trivia
- If it is DC, Marvel, Superman, or Batman, do you consider yourself an expert for all things superheroes? If so, make sure to stop by FAB's Superhero Trivia Night!
- There will be a plethora of prizes, fun to be had, and food from Grill '72.
- This event will take place from 7 - 9 p.m. at the lower level of the Kent Student Center in the Rathskeller.
Friday, Sept. 19 — Kent Student Ambassador's Written with Kindness
- Looking to spread some kindness? Join the Kent Student Ambassadors in writing encouraging messages for fellow Kent State students as we celebrate World Gratitude Day!

- Want to explore Hocking Hills State Park in beautiful southern Ohio? Join us in some hiking, exploring waterfalls, and camping while it’s still warm out!
- Hocking Hills provides a variety of recreational opportunities in a splendid natural setting. Towering cliffs, waterfalls and deep hemlock-shaded gorges lure the hiker and naturalist and serve as a backdrop to popular facilities and accommodation.
