Gabby Adkins graduated from 麻豆果冻 in August 2025 with a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising. Prior to that, she spent the summer participating in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program, working under the mentorship of Gargi Bhaduri, PhD on a project that blended fashion, sustainability, and game design. The Kent State Golden Flashes will open their 2025 football season Saturday when they host Merrimack College at Dix Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.The home opener features several fan promotions, including a giveaway of Fearless Flash Football Flags to the first 2,000 attendees. Taking a drone photo of an entire incoming class of students forming a giant "K" is a relatively new tradition at Kent State. It happens immediately after Convocation with all students filing out of the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center to a large, open field on campus, like Centennial Green. Krissi Riewe Stevenson holds an M.F.A. and a B.F.A. in Fashion Design from the University of North Texas, where she began her applied research on the use of both traditional craft methods and emerging digital tools to bring innovation into the design process. In her design work, she embraces value of physical, material knowledge as a critical component to incorporating and using new technologies for creative innovation.

Textiles are comfortable against the skin making them an ideal platform for incorporating wearable electronics. This can be particularly useful for on-body sensing where sensors often need to have good contact with the body to provide accurate results. Electronic textiles have therefore received significant attention for creating devices for wellbeing, healthcare, and protective applications.
