Drawing Facilities

The drawing classrooms are located on the first floor and second floor of the main entrance into the Center for the Visual Arts (rooms 173, 177 and 251). All classrooms are fitted with overhead spot lights, heavy-duty sinks and flat files to store large drawings. 

Drawing majors have a communal studio space, used to create their thesis work, located in the smoke stake section of the CVA adjacent to the Mezzanine Gallery in room 106. 

Graduate and faculty studios are located on the first and ground floors of the main entrance. 

Open Drawing

Open drawing will be held Thursdays beginning Sept. 4 - Dec. 4, 2025, from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Visual Arts, CVA 251. This event is free and open to the public. 

There will be no open drawing Oct. 2 during Fall break or Nov. 27 during Thanksgiving break.
