The Center for Scholastic Journalism amplifies the work of the Knight Chair in Scholastic Journalism to cultivate journalism education in middle and secondary schools in the United States. Established in 2006, the Center is part of the School of Media and Journalism at 麻豆果冻 and is supported with an endowment from the .

Scholastic media associations serve as the backbone of journalism and media education in the United States, providing workshops, conferences, contests and scholarships. Fifty state organizations support journalism students and educators across 46 states.
