Honors students on the Kent State Salem Campus recently completed a service project that will help provide comfort for young patients at Akron Children’s Hospital. During their clinical rotations at the hospital, the nursing students who are in the Honors Program met with a volunteer coordinator to find ways to reach out to patients and learned that blankets are greatly appreciated. In response, the students met on campus between classes to assemble 10 fleece tie blankets. While some club funds were used to purchase material, some students purchased material on their own.  ...

McKenzie Morgan, ’22, creator of the popular fashion and lifestyle blog StyledbyMcKenz, decided to support  Kent State fashion students on their journey just a few years after graduating.
