East Liverpool ā Kent State at East Liverpoolās Student Government Organization presented a check for $1,000 to the universityās foundation to help fund a memorial scholarship honoring the late Dr. Roxanne Burns. Burns was a longtime biology professor on the East Liverpool Campus who died last fall. The National Institute of Nursing Research at NIH has awarded Biological Science's Min-Ho Kim a $1,842,350 five-year grant to develop ānanobombsā, a nanotechnology-based therapeutic platform, that can treat biofilm infection in chronic wounds.
