I AM FIRST Week 2024

A first-generation college student is someone who is, or will will be, the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree. Kent State honored these students with “I AM FIRST Week” - and a schedule of events that included alumni and graduate student panels, educational workshops and the Kent State men’s basketball home opener game, which recognized first-generation students.   Want to see one of YOUR photos in “IN A FLASH?” Submit your Kent State-related photos to InAFlash@kent.edu and you may see them in a future Kent State Today post. Photos should be framed...
