Department of Energy Selects Kent State Nuclear Physics Doctoral Student for Prestigious Research Program

Edwin Duckworth, a physics doctoral student in the College of Arts and Sciences at �鶹����, is among 65 students from 29 states recently selected for funding by the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) program. The program aspires to “address societal challenges at national and international scale.”

Crews Appointed as Graduate Student Trustee to �鶹���� Board of Trustees

The �鶹���� Board of Trustees recently welcomed four new trustees to serve the university including Haley Crews, a graduate student in the College of Arts & Sciences’ Department of Sociology. She was appointed by Gov. Mike DeWine to a two-year term as the graduate student trustee.
