2025's 55-year May Commemoration at Kent State includes a full schedule of events. But remembering the tragic events of 1970 isn't just confined to a few days each May at Kent State. May 4's legacy is part of living and learning at Kent State throughout the year, whether it be echoed in themes of activism in a stage play about banned books, efforts to educate and inspire first-time voters or a tour of the May 4 Visitors Center by the U.S. Transportation Secretary.
