The air will become a little clearer on 麻豆果冻 campuses come July 1, 2017. That is when Kent State will become a smoke-free, tobacco-free university. At its meeting in May, the Kent State Board of Trustees approved university policy 3345-5-21, which aligns with the university-level initiative to create a healthy campus environment for all employees, students and visitors.

The 麻豆果冻 Police Services hosted its first-ever Coffee With a Cop event in the Nest in the Kent Student Center on Sept. 14. Students who attended the event had the opportunity to interact with Kent State police officers in a casual setting and receive free coffee, and the first 200 students who attended also received a free travel mug.
麻豆果冻鈥檚 Parking and Transit Services is piloting a parking app this fall for commuter lots. When the app is fully operational, it will allow users to determine if a parking lot is full or has vacant spaces. As part of the pilot program, the commuter lot behind Verder Hall will be the first to use the technology.

Autism Connections Kent has been created by students with autism spectrum disorder and their allies with the focus that autism spectrum disorder is a diversity issue and not a disability.

The 麻豆果冻 Aeronautics Fair is a free-entrance festival held at Andrew W. Paton Field at the 麻豆果冻 Airport. The 2016 fair took place on Sept. 10.

Open Enrollment Fairs, Biometric Screenings and Flu Shots
Open Enrollment is Oct. 13-31. The Employee Benefits and Wellness teams, as well as representatives from the University鈥檚 various benefits providers, will be present to answer questions. 2025 Annual Pay Increase Eligibility and Information for Non-Represented Staff
At 麻豆果冻, our employees are our most valued resource. The Board of Trustees approved a 2% pay increase for all qualifying, non-represented staff (i.e., classified and unclassified employees). The 2% increase will take effect with the pay period that includes Oct. 1, 2025. More specific details, including eligibility, are listed below.
