During National Autism Acceptance Month, Āé¶¹¹ū¶³ will hold a film screening of āLoving Lampposts: Living Autisticā at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, in the Kent Student Center Kiva. āLoving Lamppostsā is a documentary by Todd Drezner, a father of a now 13-year-old boy with autism, that explores the changing world of autism and learns the truth of the saying āif youāve met one autistic person, youāve met one autistic person.ā

The School of Fashion announces the return of its acclaimed in-person Fashion Show, April 28-30, 2022, in Rockwell Hall on the Kent Campus. Kent State Youth Winds Make Debut with Guest Conductor Anthony Maiello
Announced as a new ensemble earlier this year, the inaugural class of the Kent State Youth Winds make their debut Saturday, Nov. 6 under the baton of guest conductor Anthony Maiello. The concert is part of the Āé¶¹¹ū¶³ Glauser School of Musicās annual Wind Band Conductorās Symposium beginning Nov. 5 and running through Nov. 7.
Āé¶¹¹ū¶³ Orchestra Celebrates Halloween with Family-Friendly Concert
Come dressed in your Halloween best for the Āé¶¹¹ū¶³ Orchestraās Oct. 31, 3 p.m. concert. The members of the orchestra will be decked out in costume, performing spooky, family-friendly favorites. Candy will be handed out at the end of the performance to kick off Kent cityās official trick-or-treat that night.
Los Angeles-Based Production Company The Red Door Films and Kent State Announce Student Design Challenge Competition
Āé¶¹¹ū¶³ and The Red Door Films of Los Angeles announce āPlay with a Purpose,ā a sponsor challenge as part of the SkyHack 3.0 competition at Kent State to be held Nov. 5-7. Teams of students will create an interactive toy universe based on the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) of World War II and their training base, Avenger Field.

Āé¶¹¹ū¶³ās Flashes Fighting Hunger Contactless Food Drive will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 25, from 1-4 p.m. at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Hilltop Drive. The collection station will be located on Hilltop Drive in front of Cartwright Hall.
